If you like young adult books, boy, do I have a good one for you. The title of it is Alive. It's by New York Times best selling author Scott Sigler.
He is known for his horror/fantasy writing, but ventured out of his comfort zone this time around.
Well, comfort zone for Mr. Sigler must be all genres because he excelled at this book like all the rest of his.
This story opens with a girl who awakens in an enclosed box. She deduces that it must be a coffin. She fights and kicks her way out, only to discover that the mystery is not over. There are more coffins, just like hers, just not broken out of yet. She doesn't know who she is, her past, or how she got into the coffin. With only the name Em, located on the side of her coffin, to go by, she starts to try and unravel the mystery.
