I'll admit I just got started, and still this one is among by favorite young adult books.
Funny, easy to ready, genre-but-not-really-genre all at once.
The book opens with something we've all done at least once or twice: Zack daydreaming and staring out the window when he's supposed to be paying attention in school.
From the dust jacket:
It’s just another day of high school for Zack Lightman. He's daydreaming through another boring math class, with just one more month to go until graduation and freedom—if he can make it that long without getting suspended again.
So far, it's great. I read Ernest Cline's first book too, and loved that, so it's not surprising I'm digging this so far. I'll let you know how things go as I get into it!
