I have been focusing my attention lately on those young adult books that I read when I was a kid. Books like Charlotte's Web, To Kill a Mockingbird, and Johnny Got His Gun.
I thought I would take a look at what is currently available.
The book that stood out to me was Falling Into Place by Amy Zhang.
It's a book about a girl who tried to kill herself on the very day in science class that physics is discussed.
The themes this book presents to the reader are: how do we impact others, what is momentum, and how do we deal with force?
This book looks very interesting to me. However, like all things when it comes to our youngsters, I might want to read this book first before I suggest it. It seems very adult. I would be hesitant about what age I gave this book to a preteen or teenager in my life.
From my standpoint though, I am intrigued.
Let me know what you think in the comments. Have you read this book? What age is appropriate? Did you like it?
